The person the builds the “easy button” that connects search, distribution, ad sales/networks, metrics, and content will be a gazillionaire. Professor Jarvis calls for a summit at his VON2007 presentation today. Here is the problem as he sees it:
“And then there’s money…I’m not getting enough.. I’m not getting any… Since the web began I’ve seen advertisers try to turn the internet into television…Well they’ve arrived. The internet now is television. They’re at the promised land and we stand here with stalls set up selling manna and honey. But like the bloggers, we’re not ready for them we’re not making it easy for them.”

I like the close up where he’s practically frothing at the mouth. But he’s frothing for a good cause. More power to him.
